You did a nice job on the veneer restoration. I question the use of nails to hold the boards onto the bottom of the dresser and mount the legs. More strength in screws. I would suspect that the boards are going to loosen quickly if the dresser is moved much. Listening to the drawers as you pulled them out at the end, I would also suggest you add some wax to the runners. Some refinishers also wax the drawers inside and out with something like Harold's Feed & Wax, for extra protection, a lovely smell and nourishing the wood. As for flattening the trim design and redesigning the base, those are design choices and highly individual. Whatever keeps it out of the landfill!

3:36 NO! Keep the Art Deco Vanity it’s Beautiful. I understand when pieces are too damaged. The chalk paint phase needs to phase out! There’s so many destroyed pieces painted, naturally unwanted. This is one Wicked piece of History.
